Jimmy Carr: Terribly Funny will bring the comedian’s signature dark humour and sharp observations to the Palace Theatre in 2021

Britain’s best-loved funny man, Jimmy Carr, arrives at the Palace Theatre to make a socially distanced audience laugh at many of life’s most terrible things.

The acclaimed comedian from TV’s 8 Out of 10 Cats is pulling no punches with his new show Terribly Funny, which takes a wry look at many terrible things and finds the funny in all of them. In a year with so much bad news as 2020, a good laugh is exactly what people need, and Jimmy Carr is the man to provide it.

This is not a show for the easily offended. Jimmy Carr’s signature style takes no prisoners and this show deliberately chooses the most terrible topics to poke fun at. Terrible things that may have happened to you, or people you know and love are all ripe material for this no-holds-barred comedian.

Jimmy Carr is a staple of British prime time as the long-established host of Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats and its spin-off 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Carr also makes regular appearances on panel shows such as A League of Their Own and QI. Carr’s true passion, however, is stand-up comedy where he has proven his unmatched skills again and again. His ability to put down any heckler is legendary.
